In a shocking turn of events, a Karachi school principal named Irfan Ghafoor Memon has been caught in a controversy after an alleged video of him went viral on the internet and social media platforms like Twitter, and Reddit. According to ARY News, the public is demanding ‘capital punishment’ for the principal.

On Monday, local police arrested him from a private school in Karachi’s Gulshan-e-Hadeed area over sexually assaulting fellow teachers and other members of the staff. 


Karachi School Principal Viral Video Scandal Leaked On Twitter, Reddit

In an officially released statement to ARY News, the accused Irfan demanded police officials for capital punishment. He further added that his action had caused harm to many. The alleged video leak shows him getting intimate with school staff members.


Additionally, some insiders have stated to news agencies that Rana Hussain, Sindh Caretaker Education Minister has instructed to close the school in order to thoroughly complete the investigation. 

Once the order was issued, the Directorate of Private Institutions stated to DC Malir to close the building of the unregistered private school.

After his arrest, the police also recovered more than ‘25 obscene videos’ from the mobile phone of the principal – identified as Irfan Ghafoor Memon, who was arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting teachers and other staff members.

Furthermore, Malir Hasan, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) said in the press that they have recovered more than 25 intimate videos from the accused’s mobile phone. The case has been registered against him. The evidence is enough to make a case against the accused. 


During an interview, SSP Malir stated that the citizens were quite helpful in apprehending the school principal, in some cases, the accused Irfan Ghafoor used blackmail as well as extortion to make staff members get sexual with him.
